Current Issue
Hi, I am struggling to access Baldrick Input 8's. Some context: Last night I set up a FPP instance on a Rpi and a Baldrick 8 controller. (both brand new, but not the first I have set up!) I don't have easy access to a router, so my setup was like this. Ethernet switch connections - Laptop - Baldrick 8 controller - Raspberry Pi - Baldrick Input 8 - Mobile phone with Ethernet tether This setup (using the phone connected to the switch to provide internet) worked for the initial setup of the Baldrick 8 Controller, and provides my laptop with internet, so I can confirm this works. Using the 'arp -a command on the command prompt (Windows 11), I can see 3x Dynamic IP addresses. 1x is for the FPP instance (works) 1x is for the Baldrick 8 (works) 1x I can assume is for the Baldrick Input 8 (doesn't work) I also cannot see Input8 in the Baldrick controllers' Turniput section. I tried various methods of restarting and unplugging components etc. I also tried two different Input8's. The setup using a phone is a little unusual, however, I will be travelling with this setup, so it's pretty key, and it did seem to work for the initial setup of the Baldrick 8 controller, so I assumed it would work for the Input8. Currently, the Input8 is powered via a 5V 5a supply; however, this can be changed if needed. I am not currently by the setup, so I can't send any photos right now, but hopefully I have provided enough information to shed some light. Thanks in advance, Connor Turansky

Lights stay on after show finishes
Sometimes pixels will stick to the last data signal they receive, there are two ways of fixing this.
If you are using FPP, then go to FPP settings > UI > Switch to Advanced Level UI then go to Playback and tick Blank between sequences [ ] this will make sure that off is being sent to all pixels in between sequences.
You can also do the same using Baldrick Directly by creating a CunningFX of a colour splash which is just blank and setting that to automatically start when the Baldrick boots up.
Wrong pixels are lighting up when played from FPP
Normally this indicates that something has changed on the layout but FPP hasn't been updated, if you can re-render the sequence then save, then FPP Connect and make sure UDP Out is set to ALL.
Unable to connect to board
Whilst this might be out of my power to solve, double check that the power cables are thick enough for the controller, that the ethernet is going to a router or switch. (The Baldrick won't work connected directly to the computer if it doesn't have a DCHP server).
If that doesn't work swap out the ethernet cables are those things can be finicky, take a look at the ethernet power, both lights green and orange should be flashing.
