One of the guiding principles of the Baldrick Boards ecosystem is simple: make life easier.

We knew people would soon have more than one Baldrick Board in their setup, so we created a clever little networking layer to let them chat to each other and share info.

It all began with discoverability. Suddenly you could see every Baldrick Board on your network along with its IP, firmware and state.

Then came test sync, so you could get boards of the same type marching in step. Perfect when you've got props dotted round the garden and you want them all lighting up together.

Next we added FPP discoverability. That means your boards now go hunting for FPP installs on your network, giving you instant interactive fun with buttons or Turniputs, all without writing a single line of code.

And we're not stopping there. Update sharing, time sync and a few other surprises are all on the way. The Turnip Network is Baldrick once again going the extra mile to make your lights easier, smarter and a lot more fun.
